Theory of "Play-full-ness": Truth and Play in Education
My thesis proposal has been accepted!!! - yay!
Herut and us
We have been going to Herut homeschooler's meeting every week for a couple of weeks now and Michelly is still trying to fit in - today she has decided to use clay as a means of fitting in... it sure worked.
Volcano/Knight Day
On Wednesday Michelle woke up and decided that today she is going to "teach" all her friends about volcanos... In the morning we prepared the activity and Eshel said that he will show everyone how to be a knight. I suggested making a tournament and then showing and talking about volcanoes - so here is a photo story...

what is a yard for?!
Reading
I have been a little busy lately so kids find ways to be together... Michelle reads to Eshel
Sasha takes them on long bike rides in the woods... they come exhausted
and we play a lot and meet friends - life is good and hard and exciting....
Our new life
On April 27 th our son Ilay was born.
We are very happy and excited about our new life as we learn to be a family of five
What I want to learn now:
- to remember... to remember all the little things that happen throughout the day...how the children were playing, which stories they told me, how cute Ilay looks when he is sleeping and how fun it is to be here with them...
- how to relax... always worrying about "educating", about the right way to act, about keeping the house tidy, about being a "good" parent - relax, life becomes easier, more fun and "right" (whatever that might mean)
-how to laugh - to laugh when something goes wrong...
- to enjoy my time here - life towards death, as Heidegger would call it...or what Ilan Gur Zeev calls the Love of Life
-how to love... or is this the "gift" that Derrida talks about?!
